Whether you’re just beginning your journey in the workplace or moving to research industry from another profession, Associate membership of IARSA supports you to develop the skills you need to stand out and puts you on your path to success.
You will unlock the next stage of your professional development, allowing you to begin working towards becoming a Certified Member. This type of membership is designed to help you boost your career and achieve your ambitions.
Associate membership offers the opportunity to become more involved in the research industry, whether it is for professional or personal reasons, or a combination of both.
Associate membership is for those who have an interest in research. Associate Members are persons who lack the necessary qualifications for election as Certified Members but who have sufficient interest in research to apply for membership. The membership includes the benefits of a Certified Member except an Associate Member may not hold office or vote.
It will suit those who are in the early stages of a career in the industry, or who may be in related roles in other fields. By becoming an Associate member of the Association, those wanting to learn more about research can take advantage of discounted rates for our professional development events, keep up with advances in the industry via our publications, receive expert advice and support, participate in our special interest groups and networks, and connect with other members at our functions.
As for all IARSA membership levels, Associate members agree to abide by our Code of Professional Behaviour, our Constitution and Regulations.
Why become an Associate Member?
Associate members are entitled to use the designation Certified Research Professional and the post-nominal letters ACRSA (Associate Certified Research Scholars & Administrators)
