Institutional membership provides an economical way for continued learning and development for education professionals at every level. For the price of one seminar, you can provide ongoing professional development for up to 11 people.

As part of the Institutional membership, your institution will receive one Premium membership for the team leader. In addition, you will receive 10 team memberships for fellow educators to help collect the resources you need for a highly effective in-house professional learning community.

Institutional Membership Scheme

IARSA’s institutional membership scheme is designed to reduce costs to institutions and members. Institutions can now choose one of four options enabling IARSA membership of up to 10, 20, 30 or unlimited members. All the usual benefits and discounts of IARSA membership apply to institutional members. In addition, institutional members are acknowledged on every page of the IARSA website in the footer section and publicly at our annual conference awards ceremony.

An institutional membership also provides your staff with a range of professional learning opportunities throughout the year. For example, through our IARSA webinar series (practice and research streams), participation in IARSA international and regional conferences and forums

Membership numbers can easily be adjusted at any time and substitutes made in the event of staff changes. To qualify for this scheme, all members covered by an institutional subscription must be staff or students of the named institution.

Types of IARSA Institutional Members

1.  PATRON INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS

Patron Institutional Members support the mission of association by accommodating chapters/branches of association in their premises and actively conducting the operations of associations on local level.

All ‘Institutional Members’ are provided with ‘Certificate of Recognition’ as “Research Chapter”. The Research Chapters of International Association of Research Scholars and Administrators enjoy the following benefits:

• Creating new networks - Institutional membership gives your staff cheaper access to professional development schemes, events, seminars and our annual conference and exhibition.
• Keeping you in touch - Our publications, online archives and website provide essential information to keep you in touch with the latest news, analysis, opinion and projects.

IARSA Patron Institutional Membership is open to all internationally and regionally recognized academic and research organizations. Patron Institutional Membership of International Association of Research Scholars and Administrators can be applied with the following:

Institutional Members contribute to the mission of the Association by encouraging the activities of the Association in its own or associated premises. It encourages spreading of message and activities of the association by promoting the association through it.

• Recognition as approved Student Chapters
• Guidance and support in conducting research projects in the institutes
• Encouragement to research innovations in the institutes
• Guidance for conducting student seminars in its premises
• Special discounts on student memberships for all students of the institutes
• 100% scholarship to all staff members and students for manuscript publishing in IARSA’ International Research Journal
• Partial scholarship to all students for attending IARSA’ International and regional Conferences
• Research updates to common communication ID (e-mail) of the Institute

How it works:

Upon registering, one member is registered as a contact person. This member will have the same right to represent the institution at any conference, annual conference of the Association. He or she will receive a number (depending on registration) of redemption codes for free membership of additional members. All these members will have the same rights to represent the institution. Please note that institutional membership has to be manually renewed every year.

Duties of Institutional Membership

Like all good things, the benefits of membership in IARSA carry obligations as well.  Members support the advancement of academic and global; research and defray the costs of important IARSA programming by paying an annual membership fee, joining in occasional cooperative agreements, and helping to publicize relevant programs and initiatives.

• Membership Dues: All member institutions must pay an annual membership fee. This allows the Council to pool funds in support of research programming and publications.
• Cooperative Agreements:   All member institutions are occasionally invited to join in cooperative agreements on student exchange, faculty collaboration, the sharing of pedagogical tools, and more. This strengthens ties between and among member institutions, while bolstering a variety of research and training programmes.
• Promote Council Programming:   All member institutions are required to promote IARSA-sponsored opportunities and publications available to their members and faculty.  This ensures that target populations are aware of the advantages and opportunities secured by institutional membership.
